Where's Normo?

Thanks to Steve Hernandez

Gothiness: 10 Sweatiness: 8
A Friday game for you (albeit a pretty crap one)! Somewhere in this Misery of Goths (I think that's the collective noun, but am prepared to be corrected) stands a terrified Norm! He's been kidnapped and forced to play a macabre version of Where's Waldo - can you find him before his soul gets subsumed by the Dark Side? Can you rescue him before he is forced to watch Rocky Horror and don a basque and suspenders? Will he taste blood and want more, or will you pull him back to his vanilla life and promising career in middle management in time? First to tell me what he's wearing wins no prize at all...

Come on, easy as pie. It's gotta be the guy in a green Hawaiian shirt and glasses. With a grin plastered on his face, but really he's screaming "OH MY GOD GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

Hey, I never said it was hard ;)

It's not easy, I can't find a guy in a hawaiian shirt. I can barely make out which blobs are faces vs t=shirt decals. Is it my browser that this image seems crazy low res?

Actually, his Hawaiian shirt fits in much more than his girl friend...

A "misery" of goths...I like that!

Yep, I found the geek in the Hawaiian shirt as well. I want a virtual cookie.

I'm torn between Mr. "Warning I Bite" t-shirt who looks like he mostly nibbles one ears of corn, and the girl in the bikini and the pink flipflops, with all that skin exposed to the Daystar.

There's also the guy in the acid yellow tee and a backpack with his back to the camera (right). Clearly so shamed at his failure to meet the dress code that he's hidden his face...

It's gotta be that guy flippin' the bird. I'm pretty sure it's like a cry for help.

And I think it's a "glom" of goths, innit? Or maybe it's a "glum".

WV: tritio-a new three flavor combo corn chip from Doritos!

The ironic "Warning I bite" shirt man or the Hawaiian Shirt man? They both have my vote.

Misery of Goths ... I like that.

Man...I happened to look at this site today, after not having looked at it for a while...and LOOKY what I found. I know 90% of these people. They're from Richmond, Virginia. I find it especially funny that I can name every person mentioned in the other comments. This kind of made my evening, and that's a little sad.

Does it help that I know the neon shirt had a picture of Carlton Banks on the front? I know of him and he's not a normal. I also know about a forth of the people in that picture. It was taken at a yearly gothy outing at Kings Dominion.

aw yay! i'm in there....being a tool as usual. this was indeed a fun day. and yes, it was a fluorescent carlton shirt.

Haha, I'm the one wearing the lampshade hat with the orange puppet to the left. This was from "Freak Day" at Kings Dominion. It's kinda like "Bat Day" at Disney. Good times!

The guy in the "Warning I Bite" t-shirt looks a little stunned, like he's not sure how he ended up where he is. The guy in the green and white hawaiian shirt has a kinda cheesy grin going on, but the shirt could be ironic. I also wanted to guess it might be the guy in the day-glo t-shirt and backpack, but that's been vetoed already. There's a guy near the front, toward the right end of the photo, wearing what looks like a white sleeveless t-shirt and a ball cap who might be more of a normal than most. Just a few guesses, but it's a really good picture. :-)

The guy in the hawaiian shirt is out at the club most every week, so he's not so much wanting to get out of there.

Probably the "most" normal is one of the guys in the middle who's listed as one of the top divorce attorneys in the state.

Hahahah -- I thought that looked familiar! If I'd been feeling better that weekend, I would have been in this photo -- that's the yearly "Freak Day at King's Dominion" outing in Richmond, VA (as noted elsewhere in the comments.) Nice to see some well-known and fondly-remembered faces!

My back wasn't turned to the camera in shame ... i was getting a finger in the ass and turned around real quick as to see who was messing with me..
